Free Seminars

Welcome to the College of Natural Nutrition Free Seminar Page. Every summer the college stages two free seminars on topical subjects of interest for the general public. The aim of these seminars is to pass on very relevant information on how to maintain good health and pursue the goal of reaching our full human potential through Natural Nutrition.

Seminars for 2007

SEMINAR ONE – How to combat stress and depression in your life.
Many biochemical changes will take place in our body when stress and depression is experienced, especially when felt over a protracted period of time. Our biochemistry tries to do its best to maintain optimal functioning but will eventually weaken (if left unsupported) to the point of manifesting different diseases. The ability of the body, especially the central nervous system, to utilise and store light is especially important for stress and depression. We will explore what needs to be available via diet and techniques to optimise this function.

Dates:
London (Regents Park) - Sat 21st of July (2-4pm)
Bristol (Clifton) - Sat 1st of September (2-4pm)

SEMINAR TWO – Old fashion nursing methods, the gentle approach.
Many people today are seeking a gentler approach to treating their illness. We are seeing the eradication of many acute diseases by prescribed drugs but this is leading to a realization, that health deteriorates if the body is not helped to resolve these problems in accord with natural laws. In illness, areas of the body need support to bring about the completion and change which is necessary for an improvement to the overall health of the individual. We will look at the old fashioned techniques which can be employed in combination with diet.

Dates:
London (Regents Park) - Sat 18th of August (2-4pm)
Bristol (Clifton) - Sat 28th of July (2-4pm)

The areas touched by this form of treatment include:
Body pH, Body Temperature, Hydration and Light usage / storage and Acute / Chronic diseases.

Seminars for 2006

SEMINAR ONE - How Blood Sugar Influences Personality and Performance
We are used to athletes looking at high performance foods so why aren't we all looking at nutrition to promote high performance in our every day lives? We will explore how we can change our behaviour and personality traits by changing our blood sugar rhythms. These changes immediately affect memory, sleep patterns, patience and tolerance. One of the greatest impacts can be seen on fear levels whether these are manifested as holding back in life or as panic or paranoid episodes. We will show how we can change blood sugar patterns using some very simple principles.

SEMINAR TWO - How Natural Nutrition enables people to fully utilise the newly emerging universal energies.
Our environment and universe is undergoing great changes, the pulse rate of the earth is quickening, the photon activity is increasing. To harness the full potential of these changes in order to improve our health and lives we need to work in harmony with them. We will look to see how we can assist our body to cope with the increased speed of every molecule, atom and sub-atomic particle within it. We are able to facilitate the potential for increased changes and growth on all levels of our being and in our lives. We will look at how natural nutrition with its naturopathic techniques comes alive in this current situation.

The Cds for the serminars are free until July 1st 2007 and £5 plus postage per seminar after this date.
