Practice Management
Many very talented practitioners graduate from their college with burning enthusiasm, a head full of knowledge and great goals for healing the sick. They then find out that they are sadly lacking in business acumen. A good knowledge of business ensures that the practitioner can continue to carry out the tasks they have been trained to do successfully.
This module tackles all the issues surrounding setting up and maintaining a viable practice. It takes the student through all the financial requirements and rulings, e.g. self employment, as well as looking at ways to promote and develop their practice.
This module also enables the lecturers to pass on hints on systems that they have used in their own practice, such as booking procedures.
These systems are tried and tested and invariably save a lot of time and inconvenience.
