Natural Nutrition
This module is the therapy which students will be practising on leaving the college. It draws together the information taught in all of the modules to create a simple holistic philosophy which treats illness on all levels. Throughout the module students will learn and develop concepts that will be applicable to use in all situations. These give a safe framework to ensure that integrity returns to the body on all levels and that suppression never takes place, as suppression always leads to a lowering of vitality.
Very careful case taking is taught where the "disease picture" is traced through several generations. This enables the student to confirm the inherited weaknesses and the suppressive measures used in the past. Through the application of these concepts students can watch patients returning to a health state near to that experienced in previous generations.
The concepts taught are always supported with ancient naturopathic and hydrotherapy techniques, which provide the gentle tools to aid movement and detoxification within the body. Great emphasis is placed on these cleansing procedures before renurturing is even considered, as this avoids adding further stress to an already stressed body. When we use supplementation it is to return normality gradually to the body, rather than to correct deficiencies. With its concepts, tools and techniques Natural Nutrition accesses all the cells of the body for treatment, rather than only the cells involved in the presenting symptom picture.
