Anatomy & Physiology

The purpose of this course is to provide an integrated training within the subjects of anatomy, physiology and biochemistry in order that a working knowledge of the human body is built up from these basic units.
The student will be given the necessary knowledge of the structure and functions of the human body, to understand the changes that take place when disease disrupts the normal processes and the corrective procedures which need to be instigated to aid natural healing. This will be covered in sufficient depth to allow the student to practice in a competent and safe manner by the end of the module.

It is important to understand how the human body functions, what its needs are, and how all the different systems integrate. To understand how something works, we often need to dissect it down to its individual working units. This allows us to comprehend the requirements of the individual units, but it is even more important, if we are to have a true understanding, that we re-integrate the sub-units and comprehend their interactions and how this modifies the needs of the greater being. Without re-integration, a final understanding is not achievable.

A light and interactive approach is taken in teaching this course to ensure that students are enthused to assimilate the factual material.

This course when studied together with the Cellular Awakening Correspondence Course, the Nutrition Course and the 10 Hour Clinical Study Course leads to a full Nutritional Advisor Qualification.
